MOWING:
A 21 inch mulching mower (no bag) will be used to mow all properties that includes the front, back, and alley. With the use of these type of mowers we eliminate the need to bag grass clippings. This has many advantages such as keeping clippings and bags out of our landfills, reduces our cost(labor & materials), and turns clippings into natural fertilizer.
Bi-Weekly exception: The growth on some lawns (due to fertilizers, watering, season, etc.) may be challenging for bi-weekly servicing. With this in mind we only cut off 1/3 off the top. The growth in two weeks tends to cause uneven cuts and clumps of grass. We are limited in our guarantee and on sending the crews back for a re-do as compared to our weekly services. If your lawn experiences this type of growth, then we HIGHLY recommend weekly services.
A commercial line trimmer will be used to trim areas where a mower cannot reach such as perimeter of fences, flower beds, trees, home etc.
Steel blade edger will edge concrete driveways, walkways and other areas where appropriate.
Finally, we will use a blower to clean the driveway, walkway, alley and street.
PRICING:
Price for mowing is based on the total size of the property. The price for properties with improvements(pools, decks, storage sheds,etc.) is the same as properties without them. It takes as much time to mow either property type and so the price is the same. As a courtesy we do provide free estimates for new mowing customers.
Price for other jobs such as bush trimming, flower bed cleanups, leaf removal, etc. are based on the time(man hours) it takes to complete them. We provide free estimates for these additional services.
PAYMENTS:
A credit card needs to be on file prior to providing service. Credit cards will be charged the next Monday after service has been completed. In the event that a credit card fails we will try again a 2nd time before making a call to the client. Credit cards on file need to be current in order to avoid billing/service issues.
If you feel the need to tip our crew members please do so in cash.
PETS:
Please kennel or place your pets inside the home the day of service. This is for the safety of both the crew and the pet(s). We are careful to close the gates when entering and exiting the property. City Wide Lawn Care will not assume responsibility in regards to pets.
GATES:
In order for us to service you property the gate(s) must be unlocked. It’s the responsibility of the homeowner to provide access to the backyard.
In cases where the gate(s) are locked, we will make every attempt to come back the same day or week and service the property. Service price will not be reduced for locked properties.
WEATHER:
If it rains there may be a delay in service to later in the day or the day after depending on the weather. If the rain stops we still may be able to mow even if the grass is wet. If you want to reschedule due to rain, please call the office before 6:00AM as there is no guarantee after that time.
CANCELLATION:
There is no contract and so you can cancel at any time. As a courtesy, please give us 24 hours notice so that we can make changes to our schedule and notify the crew.
If you cancel the day of the service there is not guarantee since we send out the crews very early. In this instance we may have no choice but to charge for that days service.
PROPERTY DAMAGE:
Please notify us within 24 hours of damage to property.
